There is a tobacco company in Argentina with more than a century of history: Hernández Hnos. S.R.L.

And there is a personal story that has connected me to them for more than a quarter of a century.

Since 2000, I have enjoyed the cigars made by Don Luis Oreste Sosa Padilla. Over time, what began as a relationship between a producer and a consumer gradually grew into a bond of genuine affection, with him and his entire family.

I never imagined that a relationship spanning so many years, one that began with a single cigar, would eventually become something much greater.

But that is how Tobacco Trade Group was born: from a shared vision, thoughtfully developed, discussed, and shaped through years of dedication and hard work.

From the meeting of a tobacco-making tradition spanning more than 125 years and a personal relationship lasting more than 25.

A story that began in Argentina in 1900 and is now entering a new chapter in the United States.

And to think it all started with a cigar…
